CIMA provides assistance to 100 street boys aged 8 to 18, helping them return to their homes and reintegrate into society. The boys were picked up from the streets of Lima by the CIMA staff or referred by other organizations. They fled their homes following abuse and almost all have experienced drug problems and were members of gangs.
CIMA gives them a home and answers to immediate needs such as affection, care, food, health, education and spiritual support. There is an 80% success rate and over 1,800 boys have successfully adjusted to society after their life at CIMA.
A team of 45 specialists and staff see these boys grow out of abuse and adjust to healthy living. There are always needs when raising children. Consider becoming involved...
